In South Africa, our team co-ordinates and manages the storage of varying levels of stock of materials and machinery according to anticipated demand. It is a small team of multi-skilled people who never have reason to be idle – this keeps our wage overhead low, and we also keep our rental and other overheads low, to keep our prices competitive, even though we maintain a standard of material and machinery that is more fit-for-purpose than most alternate offerings. Our products are well-known and enjoy a good reputation within the South African packaging industry. The South African team is strongly skilled in repair and service of the machinery we import, and similar machines made by other manufacturers. By carefully planning our stock of components for repairs, we can offer quotes on repair of sealers, strapping machines and shrink tunnels, and are almost always able to complete the repair using parts on hand. This makes our repair operation very competitive. If you read everything in the above two paragraphs, and if you add to that, the understanding that sealer machines are far, far less common than motor cars, and service on sealers far less readily available than auto-mechanical service, you will expect that we usually have a queue of sealer machines waiting for repair (correct, we usually do). Please see the repair of these machines in a different light from your auto repair. On repairs of bigger, more expensive machinery we offer prompt, queue-less service.
