Low Table semi-automatic Strapping Machine - PW316LS

Semi-automatic Strapping Machine

A Low table semi-automatic strapping machine is intended for making a large or heavy pack (e.g. pack of blankets) secure with plastic (polypropylene) strapping. For packs that are lifted from the floor to be strapped, this machine is lower, so the item is lifted less. For production lines at low level, this machine may suit better than the standard-height machine.
This model may suit best if it is to be transported from an outlying area, to the city and back, for service, from time to time, especially if it is to be sent by road freight.
The height of this model is 0,48m – a special-purpose height.
With semi-automatic strapping machines, the operator must hold the strap to guide it over the box. This method of guiding the strap means there is no set limit to the box dimensions (provided that additional workbenches are placed to the left of the machine – and wherever else needed – to support the box).
When buying a strapping machine, keep in mind that the cost of using the machine will be about 10 cents per box (for 2 straps per box). This will be true, whether you select a Packway machine, or a machine made with inferior components. The Packway standard semi-automatic strapping machine is far less likely to break down, than are most other brands of machine that are readily available in Africa.
The care of the machine is simple:

  • After each day, lift the hinged lid and clean inside machine with a clean paintbrush, or by using compressed air.
  • Use the strapping which we import from Taiwan, or use strapping of the same quality.
  • After each 10 or 20 rolls of strapping used in the machine, have the machine serviced (by one of our trained technicians).
  • If the machine makes a loud or unusual noise, or misbehaves in any way, do not continue to use it, until we have advised you to continue.
  • If your product is as heavy as a large transformer or motor, it should be placed gently on the lid, and you should consult us about reinforcement of the lid.

With our strapping machine, cared for as mentioned above, your overall cost per box will be less than with most other machines, and you will have few disruptions of production.
