Hand (operated) impulse sealer with sharp blade

A sealer like this is intended for making bags from a roll of tubing, in a production environment. For this reason it has a sharp blade to cut the tubing open again. Its element is covered with a heat-resistant fabric which is coated with non-stick PTFE – from which soft plastic can be wiped easily. It contains a power transformer which is capable of the repetitive demands of production usage. If required, this sealer can be fitted with an element 5mm wide (which we believe is unnecessary for sealing plastic).
The blade is also useful for trimming bags which are too big.
The sealer can of course be used to simply seal bags closed.
Another use for this sealer, is to form tubes around a pack of items (e.g. six-pack), which can be done conveniently with this sealer, using a roll of flat plastic.
There would be no need to buy this sealer with blade, for centre-folded plastic.
An impulse-type sealer like this one – consumes power when sealing – very little power at all when merely switched on. This makes it suitable for intermittent use. There is no need to batch the sealing work or wait minutes for warm-up or cool-down before or after making seals.
On impulse sealers, the elements and insulating sheets (Teflon) are consumable. Order a spares pack of each, with this sealer. Please also order a spare blade.
